When our children's children talk of us, many years from now
Will they honour us with words, will our legacy stand proud?
Will we be the generation who chose to rise above the rest
Or are we the ones who fucked it all and left them with this mess?!

Deniers and skeptics will spit their rhetoric
And die before they ever feel the shame
Of watching their grandchildren playing in radiation suits in the sunshine
While their children got to sleep at night cursing their names

Will we be the heroes or will we be the villans?
We've got a chance to get it right this time
Will we be the ones who start a revolution?
Or will we be forgotten for an unforgivable crime?

We have the technology to make a difference
But our leaders take lectures from corporate whores
We're choking on oil and blood in the desert
4000 troops are dead and they still want more

Kyoto, Copenhagen well you bring forth great ideals
And talking it over is all very well
But unless we see some action on these
Then I'm sorry my friend but we're headed straight to hell!
